I have one site hosted at a host that only has SQL 2005 available, and
they say I can only administer it if I have a copy of Microsoft SQL
Studio Manager (or Enterprise Manager) . Where is the best place to
pick up this software, can't find any on Ebay and going thru Microsoft
seems way expensive.

SQL Server Management Studio and Enterprise Manager are lisenced software
and are included in SQL Server disk, you need to buy SQL Server in order to
use it. By the way, you cannot use Enterprise Manager to manager SQL Server
2005. There is light version of SQL Server Management Studio, called SQL
Server Managerment Studio Express, which is free download from MS. There is
also other similar tools (free or not) that you can find on the net.

If the database is under 4GB in size you should be able to use the free SQL
Server Management Studio Express

Thanks for the responses... I have to administer SQL databases that
are not on my network, but are at a webhost we are using- SQL Studio
Manager Express will not let me connect to a remote database (after I
installed and tried to connect)...are there any other alternatives?
Thanx
